About Me

Before becoming a DJ, I was a record collector for 20 years. I have thousands upon thousands of CDs, tapes, records and mp3s. Gradually, I have transferred that collection on to discs and hard drives, so that now it is entirely mp3 based. Of course, I still add to that collection with new mp3s on a regular basis.

I have always enjoyed the connections that music offers - people connecting to one another at gigs, people connecting to the musicians, and so on; but I also enjoy recognising rhythms, melodies, lyrics, riffs and atmospheres in a piece of music as being similar or connected to another piece of music. I see music as a giant interconnected web (much like the internet), where myriad possibilities, emotions and ideas are constantly generating still more connections.

For me, music is my religion. I love and appreciate music from all styles, cultures, religions and people.

I bring my enthusiasm and knowledge of music to my DJing, by finding connections between tracks and artists in new and interesting ways.
